Tom is thinking about his future. "If I pass my exams, I will go to university in Edinburgh," he says. "If I study hard, I will get good grades." His friend Lucy has different plans. "If I won the lottery, I would buy a house in the countryside," she says. "If I had more time, I would travel around the world." Tom laughs. "If you travelled the world, you would miss British weather!" "That's true," Lucy smiles. "But if I were rich, I would have a garden with a swimming pool." Tom thinks for a moment. "If I get a good job, I will help my parents. They have always supported me."
