Ciarán is from Cork. He is twenty-two years old. He is a student at Trinity College. "I am happy to be here," he says. His roommate, Declan, is from Donegal. "Are you Irish?" a girl asks. "Yes, I am," Ciarán replies. "We are all Irish here!" she laughs. The college is big and old. The classrooms are bright. The library is quiet. Ciarán and Declan are best friends. They are ready for their first class. The professor is kind. "You are a good group," she says.
