Last month, the Patel family booked a holiday in the Lake District. They reserved a cottage for four nights. They drove from Leeds on Friday morning. The journey took about two hours. When they arrived, the owner gave them the keys. "Check-in is at three, but you are early. No problem!" she said. The cottage was lovely. It had a small garden with flowers. On Saturday, they went hiking. They saw a beautiful lake and many sheep. On Sunday, they visited a village and had tea in a cosy café. They checked out on Tuesday morning. "This was the best holiday ever!" the children said.
